Webinar: How to Write a Blog That People Want to Read

***This session has now taken place.***

In this free one hour seminar, Laurie Garrison, PhD will talk about why some blogs are successful at attracting new audiences and others are not. Whether you are promoting your creative writing, blogging a book or selling your freelance services online, this webinar will offer some practical tips you can put straight into action. This webinar is for people who don’t yet have a blog or who have a blog and want to learn more about how you can build your audience and engage with them more.

This webinar will take place on Wednesday, 26 April from 6-7pm(ish) BST.

In summary, this is what the webinar will cover:

  • Examples of successful blogs by women writers.
  • Research techniques for finding and refining your blog topic(s).
  • Some simple steps that will help you write posts that will attract readers.

There are so many interesting blogs by women writers out there. These blogs get loads of comments, likes and shares and some of them support their writers financially. This webinar aims to inspire you to join them. By the end of the session, you’ll have a clear idea of your blogging strategy options as well as how to start locating other bloggers interested in your topics.

At the end of the session, Laurie will tell you about her course Kickstart Your Blog, which follows directly on from this webinar and offers you the opportunity to join a community of others learning about blogging and online marketing.

Laurie would like to use two or three attendees’ work as examples in the webinar. If selected, you will receive some additional advice that will be specific to you and your writing. You’ll receive instructions on how to submit your work for consideration after signing up for the webinar below. Instructions on how to join the webinar will be sent nearer the time.

This webinar will take place on Wednesday, 26 April from 6-7pm(ish) BST.
